Gary Inman

Senior Vice President, Information Technology, State Bank & Trust, Fargo, ND
My role at State Bank & Trust is to ensure we are able to provide electronic services to our customers in an expeditious and secure manner. I also serve as the President of the Information Technology Council of North Dakota, an organization dedicated to advancing the development, use, and advancement of information technology throughout the state. Each of these activities requires me to be on top of technology trends and best practices to best lead each organization.

I am a software engineer with over twenty years of experience in analysis, design, implementation, and support of complex software projects. My area of expertise concerns C and C++ compilers and the language runtimes associated with the compilers. I am currently the team leader of a multinational team which supports the IBM i C and C++ compilers and runtime.
Yelena Mejova
B.S. in Computer Science, 2007
PhD Candidate in Computer Science, The University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA
Yelena is a part of the Text Retrieval and Mining research group at the University of Iowa. Her research includes social media search and topic tracking, specifically the extraction of emotional content from text. After graduating in 2012, she is planning on working in a research university, both continuing her research and teaching.
