Where will the classes be held?College for Kids classes will be held on the MSUM campus. Coursework is designed especially for this age group unless otherwise noted in the course description.What is the cost per class?Each class has a separate class fee of its own. Refer to the course descriptions for cost of the class.Where can I get a brochure?Brochures are available at the Physics Department on the MSUM campus in Moorhead, MN, or on www.mnstate.edu/collegeforkids/, or by emailing email@example.com.How do I register?You may register by completing the online registration form. Please return the registration form with payment to the address listed. Deadline for registration is July 1, 2013.Can parents visit the class?Some classes will have material to display or presentations and the parents will be invited to attend on Thursday during the last 1/2 hour of the session. Notification will be made in advance for those classes where parents are invited to attend.Must I complete the Parent Consent Form?Yes, it is very important that the Parental Consent portion is completed for each student enrolled in College for Kids. If you are registering online, there will be an area for you to provide consent. The staff needs an adult contact person in case of injury, illness, or disciplinary problems. Please be sure to give a phone number where you or a responsible party can be reached during the sessions. No answering machines please.What do I do if my child misses class or must leave early?If your child will miss or need to be excused early from class you must notify the College for Kids office prior to class. Instructors will not allow students to leave class early for any reason without notifying the College for Kids office. What is the cancellation policy?The class fee will be refunded only if a student withdraws by noon on June 25, 2013. If the class is cancelled due to low enrollment, students can be transferred into another class or will be reimbursed the full tuition amount. How can I know what sessions are full?Sessions do fill quickly. Please check our web site for an updated list of closed classes. When will I receive confirmation information for my son/daughter's class(es)?Once we receive your registration and full payment you will receive a confirmation email. Also, before classes start you will receive a letter that will provide the classes they are registered for, complete instructions on drop off and pick up locations and any special items your child should bring.Are there scholarships available for these classes?There is a scholarship opportunity from RSVP Metro Youth Partnership. Please visit their site for a scholarship application. There is also an opportunity for support through Clay County Collaborative.
