The Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation has conferred accreditation our Community Counseling and College Student Affairs programs.

The College Student Affairs program also follows the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education (CAS) standards. The College Student Affairs program includes both the College Student Affairs Practice in Higher Education and the College Counseling areas of concentration.
The School Counseling program is approved by the Minnesota Department of Education.
All four of the Counseling and Student Affairs programs have institutional accreditation through the North Central Association and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education
