Basic Instruction for use of Digital Video Recorder

 

Charge battery
  by sliding into charger until locked and leaving.

Camera Use
  Slide and lock battery in place below eyepiece
  Turn camera to "On" using circular "ON/OFF/MODE" switch to the right of eyepiece.

 

Recording to cassette

Insert cassette by sliding the [OPEN/EJECT] switch and pulling down to open compartment Insert cassette and press [PUSH CLOSE] button on front of cassette compartment

To begin recording press the button in the middle of "ON/OFF/MODE" switch.

This button also pauses recording.

 

Playback of cassette recording

  1. Rotate "ON/OFF/MODE" switch to "MODE" until "VCR" lamp is lit. 
  2. Open LCD screen on left side of camera by bringing out the "OPEN" tab about 90° in direction of arrow and rotating screen to desired angle. 
  3. Rewind cassette and play it back stopping as desired.

 

Pictures on Memory Card

Inserting Memory Card—Make sure camera is turned off

 

  1. Open LCD
  2. Open "Card Slot Cover" located beneath the "Title" and "Multi/P-In-P" buttons
  3. Insert card with cut corner first and on the right.
  4. Close cover

Warning—when the card is inserted the "Access lamp" to the upper left will light up. When lit, do not do anything with the camera until it goes out or damage may result to the camera or card.

 

Removal of Memory Card

After opening "Card Slot Cover" press center of card and then pull straight out.  Do not force card out.

 

Taking pictures with Memory Card

  1. When card is inserted and "Access" lamp is unlit slide the "TAPE/CARD" switch to "CARD" (located left of "STOP" and "PAUSE")
  2. Word "PICTURE" will appear at the top of the LCD screen in front of image.
  3. Press [PHOTO SHOT] button (located next to "ZOOM" switch on top of camera)
  4. Word "PICTURE" will turn red to indicate that a photo was taken.

 

Playback from Memory Card

  1. Rotate "ON/OFF/MODE" switch to change "MODE" to "CARD P.B." ("CARD P.B." lamp will light) and last picture will be displayed.
  2. Press "PLAY" button to begin slide show.
  3. "FFWD" button advances the slide,  REW goes to previous slide and PAUSE pauses the slide show.
  4. STOP will end slide show.
