We believe that basing all decisions and policies on these values will create an environment of quality and excellence.
- To provide services, assistance, information, and opportunities for interaction to the campus community and regional service area.
- To maintain an environment where diverse students and the campus community can meet other people, attend programs, utilize services, relax, and study.
- To design programs, activities and services for students to participate in so they gain the capacity to live usefully, act responsibly and be active learners all their lives.
- To provide and encourage continuous training and evaluation for student staff, full-time staff, student leaders and volunteers; to ensure successful operation of the facility's services and programs within the student development framework.
- To coordinate facilities and provide support services so that meetings, workshops, conferences, and conventions may be facilitated for the MSUM campus community and regional service area.
- To maintain and improve the physical space to ensure the facility's cleanliness, safety, and positive image.
- To provide resources and support for recognized student organizations.
- To operate with fiscal accountability in order to generate revenue and control expenditures.
- To market the facility, services, programs, and activities to the campus community and regional service area.
- To recognize our role in and commitment to the recruitment, the retention, and the educational experiences of Minnesota State University Moorhead students.
