The RDC is a safe space for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex students and their straight Allies (LGBTQIA+) to find information about health and wellness as well as community resources, and also about the LGBTQIA community. It's a great place to hang out with friends, to do some homework, or to nap on comfy couches! Come enjoy the RDC’s books and magazines, or take advantage of free coffee! The ROC is a great place to hang out. You can play pool, ping pong, snooker, foos ball, air hockey, chess, checkers and other board games. In the ROC there is also a TV lounge and a computer lab. Student Senate is the officially recognized voice of the Student Body at MSUM. It strives to be a democratic forum, generating opinions in the form of motions that represent the will of the Student Body. It advocates to the administration of the university, MnSCU, local, state, and federal governments. Student Senate also implements projects that will help further the sense of community and involvement on campus, helping make things run further for the Students on our campus. The lower level of the student union has a night club feel. Great for concerts, dances, comedy shows and more, you can reserve the Underground for your events! Also, many of the AfterDark programs use the Underground as a fun space for Friday Night activities.
