  • Education Review: A Journal of Book Reviews—Publishes reviews of recent books in education, covering the entire range of education scholarship and practice.  (http://coe.asu.edu/edrev)

  • Education Week—Online version of periodical, Education Week.  Includes articles on issues and research related to education.  (http://www.edweek.org/)

  • Educational Associations and Organizations—Provides a list of educational associations and organizations with links to their web sites. (http://www.ed.gov/about/contacts/gen/othersites/associations.html)

  • The Educator's Reference Desk—Includes lesson plans across PreK to 12 subject areas, a question/answer archives, and an ERIC Database for searching journal articles, microfiche, and full-text ERIC Digests.  (http://www.eduref.org)

  • National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES)—Primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data related to education in the United States and other nations.  Includes statistics on the condition of American education and on education activities internationally.   (http://nces.ed.gov/)
     
  • National Council on Teacher Quality—Advocates for reforms in a broad range of teacher policies at the federal, state, and local levels in order to increase the number of effective teachers.
