Assistant Project Manager, MC Industrial, Inc., St. Louis, MO
I am a C6/7 quadriplegic. I broke my neck riding bucking horses in February 1999. I wake up every morning at 3:30 am and do my morning routine due to my injury. I get dressed in my flame retardant clothing and steel toe boots. By the way, I never wear out the soles on my boots! I leave my place at 6 to get to work by 7. I am working on the Coke Handling System for the new Coker Unit at the Conoco Phillips Refinery in Wood River, IL. My day to day duties consist of managing the project schedule, managing the Labor Cost and Productivity and managing the Material Requisition process. This is my 5th project for MC Industrial in various roles, at the Conoco Phillips Refinery.
