1. To connect to the VPN client so that you can install and use timberline click on the Start button on you task bar.
2. Then click on Programs
(or All Programs) then select MSUM wireless VPN Client and double click on VPN
Client.
Once you do that the following screen should appear, when it does double click
on the msumvpn.
This should then give you a screen asking for your username and password. The username and password are the same as your MSUM email account and it should look like the screen shot below. After you have entered your username and password click OK
Then you should see the following window, when you do click Continue.
After you you click continue you should then see a yellow lock in the system tray. As long as the yellow lock is in the locked position you are connected to the VPN and can get a license for timberline. To disconnect from the VPN double click on the yellow lock.
You should then see a window like this one where it says Disconnect in the right corner. If you want to disconnect single click on the disconnect button.
After you disconnect you will see a screen just like the one at the start that now says connect instead of disconnect. You can now install and/or use Timberline.
