Timberline Estimating 9.4.3 Install

This documentation will guide you through installing Timberline (Estimating 9.4.3).  Remember you need to be connected to the VPN before you install timberline.

Please use Internet Explorer for these instructions. 
They will be different in FireFox.

1. Installing Timberline Estimating 9.4.3:
1. Follow this link to download the software, Timberline Estimating 9.4.3 install

1. Click on "Run" when this screen appears:

2.   The Following Screen should then appear and when it does click "Run" twice.

3. Click on “Unzip” when this screen appears: 

2. Click “Next>” when this screen appears:

3. Click “Yes” when this screen appears:

4. Click “Next>” when this screen appears:

5. Make sure the following boxes are checked, if they are not please check them:

Cut & Fill
Digitizer Extended
Estimating Extended
Means Integrator
Model Estimating
Scheduling Integrator
Optional Databases

If any other options are checked please uncheck them.

G. Once the 7 boxes are check Click “Next>”

H. The following screen appears and when it does please select on the following boxes:
Ext Commercial General Contracting
Ext Commercial Heavy Highway
Ext Residential Homebuilder 

I. Once all three boxes are checked Click “Next>”

J.   The following screen should now appear. Below is what you should enter in the "Registration Name" and "Activation Code" boxes

                        In the "Registration Name" box enter Moorhead State University

                        In the Activation code boxes enter the following:  
                                For Ext Commercial GC enter 392678
                                For Ext Commercial HvyHwy enter 593807
                                For Ext Residential Hmlbldr enter 493176
                                For Cut & Fill enter LM 
                                For Digitizer - Extended enter LM
                                For Estimating - Extended enter LM
                                For Means Intergrator for Windows enter LM
                                For Model Estimating enter LM
                                For Scheduling Integrator enter LM

                After all this is enter, the screen should look like the following:

K. After you have verified that the screen looks correct Click “Next>”

L. Click “Next>” when the following screen appears: 

            The following screen should then appear and the install should soon start: 

            After a while the following screen appears: 

M. Now click finish and your computer should reboot.  If it does not reboot, please do so manually. 
After it reboots, please try the software.   
Remember for the program to run you need to be connected through the VPN client before running the program.
