Write a minimum of 250-word essay on computer explaining in what ways these four criteria apply to you: • academic achievement (How have you been doing in your classes?) • demonstrated potential to succeed (What makes you think you’ll graduate?) • service to the New Center and/or University (Are you on any committees/have you volunteered for anything lately?) • financial need (Why do you need the money?) • Type the essay and edit for grammar, spelling, and appearance. Staple it to the completed form.
Go online and print off a copy of your General Education transcript to include with your application package.
Submit your application form and essay to Tim Decker or to the front office.
Scholarship recipient names will be announced at the Spring Bash.
Scholarships are applied directly to students’ accounts for next fall semester and not distributed by check.
Recipients will be honored at the Fall Celebration of Excellence next fall.
