To take full advantage of the events and services offered, we encourage seniors to register with Career Services via DragonCareers two (2) semesters prior to graduation and those who will be seeking non-teaching internships during their junior year to sign up as sophomores or juniors.


Teaching Majors
- Read the Directions for Current Teaching Graduates and the Self-Guided Orientation for Teachers. Then call us at 477-2131 or come to CMU 114 to make an appointment for a resume review and for help in planning your search for a teaching position. You may see that some employers request a credential as part of the application process. That will be explained under the "Directions" link below in the segment "What is a Self-Managed Credential File?"

Non-Teaching Majors - We encourage Seniors seeking jobs and Juniors seeking internships to take the self-guided orientation. You will sharpen your job seeking skills, learn how to handle your references during a job search, get a jump on registering in and using DragonCareers and the Career Services website in your job search, learn about workshops, events and materials in our Resource Center (CMU 114) that will support your search for professional jobs or internships.
