The following books and directories are available for your use in the Career Services Resource Center in the Comstock Memorial Union (CMU), Room 114.

Cool CollegesCool Colleges tells you what you want to know about your dream school- and gives you the edge you need to get accepted.  It includes names, addresses, phone numbers, and web sites for every accredited four-year college and university in the United States and Canada. (Arrived 1/14/05)

Vocational and Technical Schools – Profiles more than 5,800 U.S. institutions of higher education that offer postsecondary awards, certificates, or diplomas requiring less than two years of study.  Institutions that are included meet the qualifications of having been in operation for at least two years and must be accredited by a national, regional, state, or specialized accrediting body. Four-Year Colleges – This guide features up-to-date advice and tips, such as how to consider the factors that truly make a difference in your college search process, understand the application process, and file for financial aid.  If you seem to be getting more, not less anxious about choosing and getting into the right college, this book provides that help!
