Minnesota Education Job Fair



When: Monday, April 19, 2010
            
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Employer booth area
             10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.- Interview area
Where: Hyatt Regency Hotel,  1300 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 

             (Note: Although Nicollet Mall does not allow  personal vehicle traffic, 
                         you can drive on the very far end to enter the ramp for parking.) 

Who: Must be alumni of a Minnesota College or University or a senior to be
          licensed by September of 2010 or be a December 2010 graduate.

Registration Form 2009 (Note: Alumni/Seniors – You do not need to complete this form if you come to Career Services in CMU 114 to register for the Fair)

  • Fair registration ends at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Seniors and Alumni can register for this fair at Career Services in the Union, CMU 114, or by U.S. mail. If you register by mail, please print the Registration Form 2009 from the link above and mail it with your check for $15 made payable to MSU Moorhead.  You must be licensed to teach by Fall (August/September) of 2009 to qualify to attend or be a Fall 2009 graduate.
  • On- site registration optionIf you miss the Tuesday, March 31st registration deadline, you still may register at the MSUM table on Fair day and pay the $30 on-site registration fee unless the flood fight/closing prevented you from registering by the deadline, in that case, you may pay the $15 fee if you are a current student. Please bring evidence you are an alumni or senior (Dragon ID card or transcript) for on-site registration.

    March 25 and April 1

  • Seniors:
    Be sure to make advance arrangements with your cooperating teacher if you are student teaching at the time of this Fair. Offer to make up the day and express your appreciation for being allowed the day off to participate in the Fair.
  • This Fair is open to education candidates who are registered via our web-based system, DragonCareers. The Fair registration fee is $15 (non-refundable). If you register at the door on Fair day, you will be asked to provide evidence that you are a senior or alumni of MSU Moorhead and pay the late registration fee of $30.
    All registration fees are sent to the organization that sponsors this Fair.

    Prescheduled interviews may be possible if you see "Will be interviewing onsite" in a district's contact information (see "Participating Employers 2009" above).

    You will receive the floor plan of the employer booths, student lounge and interview rooms when you arrive at the Fair. Come to the MSU Moorhead table.
