My primary responsibilities in the Career Development Center are to connect with employers, maintain dragon jobs and handle the business side of things for the office. I graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a B.A. in Business Administration – Financial Management. I enjoy being part of the culture at MSUM and working with the students.

I work with students at all stages to help them get set on their career path and job search. I also work with students and employers with DragonJobs and part time student employment and manage our social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram.) The favorite part of my job, though, is going out on campus and talking with groups of students about their job searches and career exploration. I have worked with college students full time for the past 13 years, receiving my Bachelor’s Degree from Western Illinois University, and a M.Ed. in College Student Affairs Leadership from Grand Valley State University.

Although I work with students at any point in their path to the future, I am particularly excited about working with exploring students, to help them find a direction. I have been working with college students in a variety of capacities for over 25 years. I hold a B.A. from Lawrence University and an M.S. in counseling and student affairs from MSUM. I recently completed a Ph.D. in educational leadership from UND, and look forward to continuing my research on students’ motivations for attending college.
