Our Mission
To assist students and alumni with the transition from the University to meaningful employment, graduate school and/or other life experiences.
To do so, we provide services to the entire campus including:
• career information, exploration and planning
• internship listings and strategies for targeting opportunities
• resume and interview workshops
• graduate school workshops
• appointments for resume/letter reviews, job seeking strategy,
mock interviews, reviews of graduate school application materials
• employer connections via DragonCareers—web-based recruiting
(resume access, scheduling of on-campus interviews, job/internship listings)
• fairs/events—meet with employers for career advice, internships, jobs
• a Resource Center in CMU 114 that has a wealth of resources
– user names/passwords of websites hosting vacancy lists to which we subscribe
– computers/laser printer to use as you seek career and job search information
• visit with us regarding the content of a self-managed credential if one is needed.
