Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education
Community based health educators work for local, state, and federal government agencies as well as voluntary and private health organizations. In addition, many large corporations employ individuals that develop, conduct and evaluate programs concerned with the health and welfare of their workers. The health educator works with mass media, plans and conducts workshops and clinics, developed educational programs for specific groups and acts as a health resource to individuals and organizations. The educational program at Moorhead State University prepares students to become a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
