Tuition and Fee Information
Tuition and Fees Current Rates
Approved in July 2009 by the MnSCU Board of Trustees:
MSU Moorhead will implement a banded tuition structure beginning
Fall Semester 2009. In the banded structure, undergraduate students
pay a flat tuition rate when enrolled for 12-19 credits.
Undergraduate students pay a per credit tuition rate when enrolled
in 1-11 credits. Undergraduate students enrolled in 20 or more
credits will have tuition charged using the flat tuition rate plus
the per credit tuition rate for each credit over 19. Depending on
the courses taken, students may also be assessed program-based
tuition.
Funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 have been used to limit tuition increases this year.
Students from North Dakota and Wisconsin must file reciprocity in order to receive the Minnesota resident rate. Instructions to file for reciprocity are at http://www.mnstate.edu/records/Reciprocity/. If you do not file for reciprocity your tuition rates will be substantially higher.
