Sample Schedule: The following is a sample schedule for students planning to complete a Biology Major with a Health and Medical Sciences Emphasis and who intend to apply for admission to a School of Optometry. This schedule is intended to help students plan their coursework in an orderly fashion. However, these are only suggestions and the schedule is flexible. |

1Most optometry schools require one
course in calculus. Math 142 (pre-calculus) is a prerequisite for Math 261
(calculus).
2A course in statistics is required
by most optometry schools.

or two psychology courses.
In addition to the above departmental
requirements all students must complete the liberal studies and graduation requirements.
