CMST 310: Rhetorical Theory and Criticism

This course examines the theory and criticism of rhetoric from its beginnings in classical times to its contemporary development. Discusses classical, British, contemporary, and postmodern theories of rhetoric and rhetorical criticism. This course is a middle cluster course in Area 6 of the Dragon Core. It is also designated as an area E course for the Liberal Studies general education program. The course will help you achieve competency in the Arts and Humanities as well as extend skills you learned in your written and oral communication courses.
