A unique academic partnership between North Hennepin Community College (NHCC) and Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) allows students to complete a bachelor’s degree in biology in only four years while offering students the geographic flexibility they desire.  Students choose whether to complete their four-year degree on the NHCC campus in Brooklyn Park or to transfer to the MSUM campus in Moorhead.

The Biochemistry and Biotechnology Major is designed for students interested in pursing careers in industry, attending graduate school, or attending medical school.  The program provides a research-based, inquiry-driven research experience that engages students in the theory and practice of biochemistry and biotechnology.
The required upper division course work is offered both on the MSUM campus and on the NHCC campus.
