Approximate Program Costs

Students accepted into the athletic training education program will incur additional program costs. The expenses are required to complete accreditation requirements, ensure the health and safety of the students and the patients they come in contact with, and meet requirements of off-campus standards. Some you the below costs may be covered by your or your parent/guardian(s) insurance coverage. As a full-time student, you office visit cost to Hendrix Health Center is included in your student health fees. The physical exam, immunization, and tuberculosis fees are listed from the Hendrix Health Center, but may be completed at a facility of your choice.

Sophomore:

  • NATA Student Membership - $75.00
  • AT 320 Course Fee - $40 (part of tuition bill)
  • Crimial Background Check - $30 (paid to MeritCare)
  • MSUM Uniform/Clothing - $50
  • Annual Tuberculosis Check - $12 (Hendrix Health Center)
  • Physical Exam - $50 (Hendrix Health Center)
  • Immunizations (if not already completed)
    • MMR - $12 (Hendrix Health Center)
    • DPT- $12 (Hendrix Health Center)
    • Hepatitis B- $12 (Hendrix Health Center)
  • Transportation - $ variable
    • Students will be required to comlete clinical assignments at off-campus clinical sites. If the students do not have their own transportation, they will be placed in clincial sites that are on the MATS (free to MSUM students) busline. The off campus sites range from 1-5 miles round trip from MSUM campus.

Junior:
