Travis Anderson, Wide Receivers Coach
A major component of the passing game at Valley City State University during his collegiate career, Travis Anderson was appointed wide receivers coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead in July.
A Fargo, ND native, Anderson was a four-year starter at VCSU and was elected captain of the Vikings as a senior. A first team All-DAC 10 Conference selection as a sophomore and junior and an honorable mention selection as a senior, Anderson’s junior receiving harvest ranked fifth on the Valley City State seasonal charts.
Anderson received a B.S. degree with an Exercise Science major in 2004. After a brief career as a personal trainer in Minneapolis, he joined the University of North Dakota football staff in 2006 as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach.
A 2001 graduate of Fargo North High School, Anderson lettered in football and basketball and was a two-sport captain for the Spartans. He was a first team All-Eastern Dakota Conference selection as a senior.
