Keith Wiedrich, Assistant Trainer
The Bismarck, ND native begins his 11th season as an assistant trainer at MSU Moorhead this fall, focusing of the Dragon football program. A graduate of Bismarck High School and Bismarck Junior College, Wiedrich transferred to North Dakota State University and received a double major in Physical Education and Athletic Training in 1989.
Wiedrich served as head athletic trainer at Mayville State University from 1990-93, and accepted a graduate assistant post at Western Michigan University in 1993. He secured a Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from WMU in 1994, and also served as co-head trainer at Kalamazoo College in 1993-94.
A member of the staff at MeritCare, Wiedrich joined the Dragon athletic family in 1994. He also oversees much of the strength and conditioning program in place at MSUM. A member of NATA, MATA and the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Wiedrich is a member of the NATA Board of Certification, involved in the Written Simulation Development Committee. He is a NATA testsite administrator as well.
