Student Learning Outcomes

Students will demonstrate the ability to identify
and analyze complex legal issues, show competence in legal research
utilizing the full range of reference materials including computerized
databases and demonstrate their understanding of the uniform rules of
legal citation.

Students will display an understanding of
contemporary critiques of legal issues, be able to organize and
structure substantive written essays in the field of jurisprudence in a
coherent and logical manner, present and defend original ideas,
recognize possible objections to their claims and be able to respond to
such objections.

Students will verify they have the capacity to
solve complex multi-stage theoretical problems involving logical
reasoning, analytical thinking and logical argumentation.
