Student Learning Outcomes

Students will provide:

  1. Evidence of acquisition of fundamental scientific information describing the bases, nature, development and use of speech, language and hearing and total communication processes.

  2. Evidence of ability to synthesize and evaluate specialized information describing the nature, etiology, assessment and management of speech, language, and hearing disorders, adjusted for client characteristics, at student's level of experience, i.e. "Intermediate" and "Advanced."

  3. Evidence of interpersonal/professional ethics and behavior.

  4. Evidence of writing ability; clinical and academic.

  5. Evidence of oral communication skills.

  6. Evidence of foundation skills necessary to conduct, convey (evaluate) research findings.

  7. Evidence of student's perception of the program's competency for fundamental, CFY-ready professional preparation.
