Student Learning Outcomes

All
students will demonstrate an ability to create, revise, and polish their
own work by creating a thesis of publishable quality in a specific
genre, either fiction, poetry, scriptwriting, or creative non-fiction.

Students will demonstrate advanced comprehension of the history and
conventions of their chosen genre.

Those
students chosen as Teaching Assistants will develop teaching skills.

Students working with New Rivers Press will demonstrate knowledge of the
publishing process.
