Student must attend a Colloquium Lecture Series, Portfolio Review 1 and 2, and an Exhibition. A grade of C- must be earned in all ART courses counted towards the major.
A minimum of five ART courses must be taken at MSUM.
Requires the completion of ART 101, 102, 125, and three introductory studio courses (ART 203A-N), the Colloquium Lecture Series, the First Portfolio Review, and a GPA of 3.0 in Art.
Students may take ART 303A, 304A, and 305A in any order. Students take a combination of two 404A or 405A level studio courses for a total of eight credits.
Students must take at least twelve credits of introductory level studio art courses chosen from ART 203B-203N. At least four credits must be in a two-dimensional medium. Students must take at least four credits in intermediate studio, ART 303B-303N. Students must also take two art history courses at the 300 level or above.
