Mr. Walz was elected to the Minnesota Senate in 1954 for the 65th District (Becker,
Hubbard, Mahnomen and Clearwater counties). He served on various committees during his

Transcripts of testimony taken at the White Earth Reservation in 1911-1912, together with
supporting documents and a report of an investigation, compiled by the Department of the
Interior. The documents concern a dispute on the Reservation over the distribution
of timber payments and which Chippewa (Ojibwa) were officially listed as members of
the Reservation. The final report of the Department of the Interior on this
investigation is in the US Serial Set, 62nd Congress, 3rd Session, House Report 1336.
