The Moorhead [Minnesota] Jaycee Women were chartered 1964 under the title of The Mrs. Jaycees of Moorhead. This group limits its membership to women of the ages 18-35. The Jaycee Women is a non-profit group that contains itself with fundraising projects related to community service. Examples of such projects are: The Walk for Mankind, The Grocery Run and working on the KFME pledge drive. The Mrs. Jaycees were renamed The Moorhead Jaycee Women under a new charter in 1979.
The collection is organized topically and chronologically within the topics. Materials include articles of incorporation, minutes, plans of action, project reports, and state and district business. The volumes and oversized items are mainly concerned with awards.
