Anthropology - Emphasis in Archaeology (40 Credits)

Core Requirements (12 Credits)

This core is required of all students who major in one of the Anthropology emphases:

ANTH 110  Introduction to Cultural Anthropology (3)
ANTH 115  Introduction to Archaeology (3)
ANTH 120  Introduction to Physical Anthropology (3)
ANTH 445  Seminar in Anthropology (3)

Requirements (18 Credits)

In addition to the listed courses, students in the Archaeology emphasis must take one archaeology area course, one applied archaeology course, and one upper level cultural anthropology course.

ANTH 300  Archaeology (3)

Electives (10 Credits)

If students in this emphasis elect to take ANTH 450 for six credits, they will need to take only seven elective credits in Anthropology courses.
