
MISSION OF THE DRAGON AMBASSADORS:
Dragon Ambassadors are official student representatives of the University with specific connection to the Office of the President, the Admissions Office and the MSUM Alumni Foundation. They strengthen communication with various groups internally and externally by providing visible, informed representatives at university alumni, recruitment, and special events. Ambassadors fill the need for positive public relations, provide positive energy on and off campus, and are available as a resource for future events.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Individual students are required to attend at least eight events throughout the academic year. The following is a list of, but not limited to, examples of events in which Ambassadors participate:
Alumni Banquets
Donor Appreciation Events
Student Academic Conference
Receptions for Official University Guests
Commencement
High School/College Visits
Opening Convocation
Preview MSUM Visit Days
Homecoming Banquets and Receptions
REQUIREMENTS:
Dragon Ambassadors are to be in good academic standing with the University and cannot have a cumulative GPA under 2.5. Ambassadors are also expected to be currently involved students within the University and have an adequate knowledge of activities and opportunities for students on MSUM's campus and the Fargo-Moorhead community.
