Ask a Peer Advisor!

The PA-Help desk is located just inside the ARO.  You will find Peer Advisors there to help you from 8:30am-7pm Monday through Thursday and 10-4 on Fridays.  They can answer just about any question about Dragon Core, Registration, MSUM policies, or Campus Life in General!

They are a great  resource for students and faculty alike!

About the Peer Advisors:

The Peer Advisor Program at Minnesota State University Moorhead began in 1971. It offers assistance to students, particularly freshmen, in making the best use of the academic opportunities and the various services offered by the University. The program supplements and expands faculty advising services.

Peer Advisors are employees of Academic Affairs; the program is administered by the director of the Academic Resource Office. Of the 40 students selected annually, about 30 are assigned to work primarily in their major departments, about 10 are employed as undeclared freshman advisors.

Departmental Peer Advisors may also be asked to assist majors and minors in their departments, to participate in department meetings and advise departmental clubs. For additional information call the Academic Resource Office at 218-477-4318.
