Welcome & congratulations on your admission to Minnesota State University Moorhead
Now that you have been admitted to the university, you have two different options that you may choose to register for classes:

1) Individual Registration - After you have been admitted to the university, you may call the academic department of which you intend to major and set up an appointment with the department chair. Identify yourself as a new transfer student and indicate that you would like to arrange a time to plan your class schedule. Be sure to bring your Degree Audit Report (available on through the E-Services link) when you meet with your advisor. 

If you are an undeclared major, please call the Academic Resource Office (ARO) at 218.477.4318.

2)Transfer Registration Days – If you would prefer a more structured registration process, we encourage you to attend one of our Transfer Registration Days for the upcoming fall semester: April 15, June 16, July 15, and August 17.

During these days, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the Dragon Core, a signature curriculum, designed to help you get the most  out of your college academic experience
  • Meet with your academic chair to select classes for the spring
  • Learn to read and interpret your Degree Audit Report (DAR)
  • Receive your University photo ID
  • Obtain an optional campus tour to get acquainted with campus
