Financing your education is one of the top questions future students and families have about attending college. If MSU Moorhead is the right fit for you, we’ll help you find a way to make it affordable. Our Office of Scholarship and Financial Aid will work closely with you and your family to help secure the best financial aid package for you. As a prospective student, you enjoy the services of a financial aid counselor who will provide guidance, answer questions and help you navigate the terminology, deadlines and paperwork associated with deadlines, grants, scholarships, work study and loans. Your first step in qualifying for financial aid is by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). As you complete your FAFSA application, be sure to include MSU Moorhead (FAFSA Code 002367) as one of your top selections. This will allow our financial aid counselors to work with you to address your financial aid needs.

We believe that an education can be both outstanding and affordable. We’re one of the most reasonably priced universities in Minnesota. And we’re proud of it. Our banded tuition allows you to take up to 19 credits each semester for the price of 12. Students will pay the MSU Moorhead tuition rate for MSU Moorhead credits. If a student takes course work from other institutions during degree completion, the student will pay the rate at that institution for those credits.
