Welcome Future Freshmen
With a student population of about 7,600, we are large enough to offer variety, and yet small enough to get involved, find the classes you need, and get the personal attention you deserve. With a proven reputation for quality academics, affordability, a friendly campus environment, and a great surrounding community, MSU Moorhead has much to offer you.
- All incoming freshmen must take either the ACT or SAT exam for admission to MSU Moorhead.
- The FAFSA should be filed as early as possible in order to receive maximum consideration of all programs. MSUM's priority date to submit the FAFSA is February 15. Applying on-line is faster and easier than using a paper FAFSA www.fafsa.ed.gov.
- Once you are admitted, you may then complete a housing application. Housing is all first come first serve so it is important that you submit you housing application in the spring of your senior year.
