Pre-Occupational Therapy @ MSUM

The education program in occupational therapy is a four-year curriculum which leads to a bachelor of science degree with a major in occupational therapy. While Minnesota State University Moorhead does not have such a program, we do offer a pre-occupational therapy program which emphasizes a liberal education and includes a foundation in the physical, biological and behavioral sciences required for completion of the course at another school.

Enrollment in these other schools is restricted and admission to the final years of the program is on a highly competitive basis. A strong grade point average in the pre-occupational therapy requirements is necessary for admission to the program.

Schools of Occupational Therapy to which our students may apply include the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN and Pacific University, Forest Grove, Oregon.
