Fact Sheets

Pre-Architecture @ MSUM

The success of our students on transferring to the engineering school from which they plan to graduate and their success after graduation bears this out.

At Minnesota State University Moorhead, we attempt to keep the class size down so that the student is able to work more with the individual instructor and have more opportunities to participate in classroom and campus activities. This helps the students understand the subject matter better and makes for an easier transition into college life.

If you like to work with people, solve problems, and work with the "How-Why-What" of things, I think you should give Engineering-Architecture serious consideration. You will find these fields very rewarding, not only financially, but personally.

With continuing changes in technology, you will find that the "sky is the limit" in regards to what you want to do in the engineering-architecture field. Graduates this year will receive about $29,500, plus retirement and hospitalization, so the financial rewards are there. I also think you will find that the chance to work with people and help improve the "status quo" will be challenging and rewarding to you as an individual.
