Scholarship Information
During the spring semester of each year, the Accounting faculty members select students to receive merit-based scholarships. To be eligible for a scholarship, an applicant must meet four criteria:
1. The applicant must be a declared accounting major.
2. The applicant must have completed at least 64 semester hours prior to spring semester
with an overall MSUM GPA of 3.25.
3. The applicant must have completed at least 3 semester hours of MSUM accounting courses
numbered 330 and above with a GPA for these upper-level courses of 3.00.
4. After spring semester, the applicant will enroll for at least 6 semester hours at MSUM to
complete the accounting degree or work toward the 150-semester-hour requirement.
Application forms are available online for students who meet the criteria above. Consideration of applications will begin during the spring semester of each year.
