  • Music Industry student nominated for European music tour

    Freshman Music Industry student Michael Eback Gant was nominated for the Northern Ambassador European Music Tour for the summer of 2015. Gant, a bass vocalist, will tour England, France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Italy, and Germany, a tour that normally costs participants $7,000. Gant’s costs will be completely covered by the program.

    Nancy Paul’s article featured in online article collection

    Nancy Paul, Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences, will have a previously published article “Strategies Used by Communication Partners of Aphasic Speakers” featured in an online article collection focusing on Aphasia and Language Disorders through the Routledge, Taylor and Francis publishing group. The article collection will be freely available for the remainder of 2014, via the collection homepage.

    Swenson and Clapp’s paper selected “Best Paper” at marketing conference

    Jim Swenson and Ben Clapp’s paper, entitled “Darwin Meets the Entrepreneur,” was presented at the 2014 Atlantic Marketing Association annual conference in Asheville, N.C. The paper was selected as “Best Paper” in its category. Both are faculty members in the School of Business.
