Attending the Student Academic Conference
The purpose of the Student Academic Conference is to showcase the
work and talent of Minnesota State University Moorhead students through presentations, posters, and
creative works at a one day conference held at MSUM in April annually.
All students are encouraged to submit presentation applications. We
strive to accommodate all students who wish to present. The university
community, parents, friends, prospective students, alumni, and employers
are welcome to attend the conference
to witness the excitement of
intellectual exchanges among our students.
Presentations: This year 255 MSUM students will be showcasing 146 presentations. These presentations range from 12 minute oral presentations, showing a poster or display, a longer workshop presentation, or panel discussion. Each presentation has been scheduled into two afternoon sessions listed below.
Schedule:
1:00 p.m. Presentation Session 1 and Poster Session 1--Various CMU Rooms and Poster Display Area
2:30 p.m. Presentation Session 2 and Poster Session 2--Various CMU Rooms and Poster Display Area

How to Get to the Conference:
The conference is held in the Comstock Memorial Union at MSUM.
Cost of the Conference: FREE! There is no cost to attend the presentation sessions. Just feel free to pick which presentations you would like to attend.
This conference exists because of the work of the entire university
community, both in terms of financial and moral support. Supporters
include: Strategic Grant Initiatives Fund, President's Office, Academic
Affairs, Student Affairs, Administrative Affairs, Alumni Foundation, Inter
Faculty Organization, MSUAASF, AFSCME, Student Senate, Campus
Activities Board, Student Activities Budget Committee, and Sodexho
Marriott.
