The Outer Cluster encourages students to take a broad view toward the world by giving them an understanding and perspective of the world and their immediate surroundings. The Outer Cluster encompasses three courses from competency areas DC 8-10 and may be taken at the 300- or 400-level.
To enroll in an Outer Cluster course, students must have completed the Foundation Four, or approved equivalents (Written Communication or Mathematics), and two Middle Cluster courses in two different areas from DC 3-7.
