Charge: Conducts assessment of Dragon Core, the university’s general education curriculum. Gathers assessment data from instructors teaching Dragon Core courses (as specified by the Dragon Core assessment reporting cycle), analyzes the data collected, and makes recommendations regarding the curriculum’s success in achieving Student Outcomes. The Dragon Core Assessment Committee (DCAC) may consult with ad hoc working groups composed of faculty with specialized training in each of the Competency Areas. The working groups would gather and process raw data and report to the DCAC. At the end of each academic year, the DCAC sends a report to the Dragon Core Committee and Vice-President for Academic Affairs.
