Absent: Stacy Voeller (sabbatical)

Minutes: Hill moved. Kalra seconded to approve the minutes of January 24, 2007. The motion was approved unanimously.

Schedule for Fall 2007: Possible meeting times for next fall were discussed. Members are to send their unavailable times to Sando prior to next week’s meeting.

Policy Draft: The revised policy draft, sent electronically to members, with suggested changes was reviewed and discussed. It was noted that the Dragon Core Assessment Committee is a University Committee and its charge is to draft the policy, then to forward it through the campus governance process. Discussion ensued on contractual issues for faculty and how and by whom assessment data could be used.

CMT Draft Results: Sando distributed draft results from fall 2006 for review and discussion, stating the data is not for release or discussion beyond this committee. Members are to review the data as it will be discussed further at next week’s meeting. Spring semester data is being collected.

Assessment Presentation: Sando announced that she is making a presentation on assessment to APAC on February 13, 2007.

Next Meeting: Wednesday, February 7, 2007, at 8:00 a.m. in LI 120D.
