Student Organization Advisory Committee (SOAC) (11)

Reports to:  Vice President for Student Affairs

Description:  Represents the needs and concerns of students involved in student organizations and activities and assists in policy definition and administrative action.  Monitors student organizations and makes recommendations regarding student organizations.  Holds hearings on violations of University rules and policy by student organizations and makes recommendations to the Assistant Director of Leadership and Organizations.  Responsible for Student Leader of the Month Award and Student Organization Awards Banquet.

Description:  Oversees the income and expenditures of the Student Technology Fee funds collected and makes recommendations to the President and Student Senate regarding the fee assessment and future expenditures.
