Six projects receivd $11,154.77. · Donna Bruns Stockrahm, Biology, received $1,900 for “The Use of Microchip Technology in the Studies of Painted Turtle Ecology.” · Andrew Chen, Computer Science and Information Systems and Co-applicants Linda Fuselier, Biosciences and Gaile Pohlhaus, Philosophy, $2,000 for “Embodiment, Film, Gender, Race and Science: Critiquing Perceptions in Fact and Fiction.” · Travis Dolence, Library, received $1,678 for “Using the Library: An Online tutorial for Speech 100.” · Theodore Gracyk, Philosophy,received $2.000 for “Taking Philosophy Out of the Ivory Tower: A Visit from the Cofounders of Socrates' Cafe.” · Christopher Huot, Health and Physical Education with Co-applicant Dawn Hammerschmidt, Health and Physical Education, received $ 876.77 for “Creating Digital Student Portfolios · David Rodenbaugh, Biosciences, received $2,700 for “Daily Spontaneous Running Differentially Affects Autonomic Control of the Cardiovascular System and Adenosine Production Capacity in Dark Agouti and Copenhagen Rats.” The Dille Fund for Excellence is a permanent endowment established in 1994 by the MSUM Alumni Foundation through the generosity of MSUM Alumni and Friends to honor the university’s former president, Roland Dille and his wife, Beth. |
