Dille Fund for Excellence
2003-2004 Grant Recipients
- Charles Howell, assistant professor
of educational foundations and Steve Grineski, professor of educational
foundations, received $1,500 for “Community Mentoring of Low-Income
Youth for Students in Social Foundations Courses.”
- Bruce Roberts, associate professor
of anthropology and earth science, received $1,500 for “International
Perspectives Conference.”
- Joann Segovia, assistant professor
of accounting and Sheri Erickson, assistant professor of accounting,
received $2,220.00 for “Personal Response Units for Accounting
Classes.”
- Steven C. Street, assistant professor
of special education, received $2,000 for “Development of Minnesota
Reading Licensure Program to Serve Community Education Professionals
in Securing the Minnesota Reading License”
- Harry Weisenberger, assistant
professor of educational foundations, Dean Mollerud instructor of educational
foundations, and John Benson, assistant professor of elementary and
early childhood education, received $1,350 for “MSUM/Mahnomen Multicultural
Partnership.”
- Kenyon Williams, assistant professor
of music received $1,900 for “The Tools for Multicultural Education:
Fuego Tropical.”
The
Dille Fund for Excellence provides funding for the annual grant competition
and for the Dille Distinguished Faculty Lecturer program.
The
Dille Fund for Excellence annually seeks proposals from the campus community
for innovative projects that raise the quality of education at Minnesota
State University Moorhead.
