2.   Minor Changes

a)   American Multicultural (AMCS) – change in course level for:

AMCS 212:  Origins of Multicultural America (4 crs) to:  AMCS 312

AMCS 213:  Modern Multicultural America (4 crs) to:  AMCS 313

 

b)   Music – change in prerequisite:

(The Liberal Studies Committee has approved this course for designation D1) 

      MUS 305:  Western Traditions Since 1900 (3 crs)

 

c)   Nursing – change in course descriptions for:

NURS 302:  Bridge to BSN Education (3 crs)

NURS 347:  Transcultural Nursing (3 crs)

NURS 348L:  Public Health Nursing (4 crs)

NURS 352:  End of Life Nursing Care (3 crs)

American Multicultural (AMCS)

New Majors:  American Multicultural Studies – Action Item

a)      B.A. in Multicultural Studies, 53-55 credits

b)      B.A. in Multicultural Studies with an African American Studies Emphasis, 53-55 credits

c)   B.A. in Multicultural Studies with an American Indian Studies Emphasis, 53-55 credits

d)   B.A. in Multicultural Studies with a Chicano/Latino Studies Emphasis, 53-55 credits
