    • Make eCheck or Credit Card payments online with Visa, MasterCard or Discover here. Login and select Bills and Payment, or call the Business office by February 18, 2013 at 218.477.2242 with your credit card information.
    • Check or money order payable to Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM). Write the student ID number on the memo portion of your check to assure credit to your account. Mail to: Minnesota State University Moorhead, Business Office, 1104 7th Avenue South, Moorhead, MN 56563. Your canceled check will be your receipt.
    • Payment Hours at Business Office:
      • Regular Hours: 8:45 - 4:00 -- Monday through Friday
    • If your aid does not cover your total bill, complete payment of the balance due no later than February 18, 2013 at the Business Office to avoid an $80.00 late fee.
    • Contracting with Nelnet Business Solutions (NBS), formerly FACTS, allows you to pay your term bill in monthly installments. Contracting with NBS will prevent late fees. Aid will still be applied directly to your bill. You do not have the option of receiving your aid in cash and using this method to pay your bill. Go here, login and select Bills and Payment.     Student Health Insurance
    During your registration process, you have the option to opt in or out of student health insurance. If unsure whether you have opted in or out for the student health insurance, contact Betty Kucera @ 218.477.2228 or email kucera@mnstate.edu (include your student ID# in email).

    Reciprocity Students
    North Dakota and Wisconsin students attending Minnesota State University may apply for reciprocity online or by printing the form and following the directions found at the respective web sites.

    Wisconsin students: http://www.heab.state.wi.us/mnwiapp.html
    South Dakota students: South Dakota students receive reciprocity automatically if you indicated on your application that you are a South Dakota resident. Verification of graduation from a South Dakota high school and/or permanent residency status may be requested if you did not graduate from a South Dakota high school within the last year.

    Federal Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
    If you wish your parent(s), guardian(s) or others to have access to information concerning the amount of your term bill you must annually complete the Student Consent to Release of Educational Record Form. Without this completed form, Business Office personnel cannot release billing or financial information to anyone other than the student. This form is on the web here or available at the Business Office in Owens Hall.

    Post Secondary (PSEO) students are responsible for resident hall charges. Tuition, activity, health/services, wellness, technology and MSUSA fees are paid by the State/School District.

    Process an official withdrawal from all classes by contacting the Academic Support Center (Flora Frick, Room 154), Phone 218.477.4318. You may qualify for reduced tuition and fee charges or a refund. You may also process your withdrawal online, but refunds will be delayed. If you leave the university without processing a withdrawal you will be given all F grades and may be required to repay a portion of financial aid. The last day to withdraw from classes is April 10, 2013.

    Students who totally withdraw from the University will be granted a State Refund or charge reduction of tuition and fees based on the following schedule:

    January 14 - January 18 100% (Free Drop Days)
    January 22 - January 28 75%
    January 29 - February 4 50%
    February 5 - February 11 25%
    After February 11 0%

    Title IV aid recipients (Pell, SEOG Grants, Subsidized, Unsubsidized, Perkins or Plus Loans) who withdraw before 60% of the term is complete will have refund dollars repaid to their aid sources. Some students may owe a personal repayment for the unearned portion of the Title IV aid they received as determined by a Federal refund calculation. Students can contact the Business Office before withdrawing to determine the effect on their aid.
